I just took ownership of a 2015 Colnago C60 size 48 sloping. The color is the new limited edition color PLGL (GOLD). Unfortunately, the right rear mainstay has the standard black cable stop for the rear derailor cable. My original plan was to build the bike with electronic shifting but now wonder if the empty black rear cable stop and empty cable ports on the down tube may look a little hokey?????? What do you guys think?

P.S. I got a really good deal on the frame so I did not have the option to order a "Di2 only" frameset.

If it's a 'dual use' frame the cable stop on the chainstay should be removable via two small screws.

For the down tube ports there should have been some blanking plugs supplied with the frame.

Would you really sacrifice your desire for electronic shifting for the sake of a cable stop?

If it really bothers you that much, send your bike to Ruckus composites, they will remove the cable stop, repaint the CF and make it all look pretty.

Thanks for all the input. I think I will go with the new 2015 Campagnolo Super Record Groupset. I think this will probably be most appropriate.
