it is possible, but and the resistance of the frame?

Over time this hole will not crack?

I have done several frames..1/4 inch expensive sharp drill bit or 6mm. Start very slow.. you can finish the interior of the hole with clear nail polish. I have never had any issues either.

I had my EPS converted to accept Campy EPS at Ruckus, they also did an amazing job with the paint. Image

Have you guys seen the vid making a c59 frame? The holes for the front D etc are just drilled as per what has been recommended here...
Current Quiver:

Time RXR, Record 10sp
Colnago C40 Mapei

In the past:
C59 x 2, EPS, Dogma2, Dogma, Caad 12, SuperSix HM, BMC RM01, Focus Izalco, Scott Foil, Cervelo R3SL, BMC SLC01, S-Works Tarmac, TCR

It depends on how much reinforcement is on the back of those holes, I guess. I had a frame converted to EPS (Caffy), though I've asked them to add a layer of carbon fiber and/or carbon mixed raisin at the back of the newly opened holes.

Still, if you are not dead-set on Campy. Just go with eTap. It shifts as good as EPS or DI2 at the rear cogs. In the front, IMO, DI2 is still the smoothest one (disclaimer, I have EPS V2 and DI2 for a few years. I've had the eTap for only four days...)

It's reinforced with an extra layer or two of carbon material. It's solid. Also, Colnago drills a number of holes into the frame when they add various bosses, derailleur hangers, etc. It's all good.

Mine was in the neighborhood of $1000, including my seatpost and bar/stem. The only decal is the head tube badge everything thing else was masked and painted. What looks black is actually the bare carbon.

Ruckus did my mods for a few hundred. Vélocolour charged quite a bit more for the paint, but it included stripping the frame, post, stem, painting many of the logos, etc. And the paint is amazing. I'd recommend both companies.
