Does Trek being Volkswagen equate the Armstrong generated sales with the emissions scandal?

Joking aside, I suspect there is a big US/Europe divide on this one

Trying to think of a car manufacturer who sues at the drop of a hat, that'll be Specialised.

Then it's inexcusable. I thought you lived and breathed Volvo!

S60s are uncommon in the UK too. V60s are a lot more popular. I wouldn't mind a D5 V40R personally...

If that's mine you're referring to, its down to 6.9 kilos now, which isn't bad for a 60 cm frame. I can probably drop almost another kilo swapping the wheelset over with some lighter tyres and other odds and ends, but not before I get my fat ass below the rider weight limit of those fancy wheels ;-) starting to think it would have been cheaper to start with an Emonda SLR frameset!

I'd quite like to see a seriously tuned Emonda SLR.

I have a Trek 1000c Hybrid (I did the flatbar conversion)

I have never weighed it, but would guess it is about 9kg on a good day

It has a Sora/Tiagra 8speed drivetrain and Ritchey bar and stem

Trek are so dorky.

Specialized put them to shame. If Canyon sell in North America even more of their market share will disappear.
