So you destroyed it having paid to have it repaired? FFS some people are too dumb for words!
A) You said that your shop tried to get the bike warrantied. Of course that wasn't going to work.
B) Giant clearly state on their website that they do not offer a crash replacement programme. If it was important to you you could easily have checked before going ahead with your purchase. I don't see how Giant were the 'reckless' party here...

No one will warranty a frame damaged in an accident.
Even if Giant had a crash replacement programme, it would not help since you didn't crash the bike. I suspect very few manufacturers have a car door damage replacement programme.
Please don't insult people here, even if you are upset by what happened to your bicycle.

I really can see any fault from Giant here, it seems fair play to turn down a manufacturing claim AFTER the frame has been crashed. And to expect that the manufacturer to pay for shipping?! You are really grasping at straws here...

The amount of resin is not an indication of a fault. Too much resin is more likely an issue. Sounds like your "professional" is not all he's cracked up* to be.

Wow. I can't believe Giant wouldn't want to check out your frame after it was damaged in a crash and repaired by a third party. How could they not offer a crash replacement when Specialized does.
Sarcasm off- You tried to get a warranty claim on an accident. You then had it repaired by a third party who claimed there was a carbon layup mistake. How does he know Giant's layup process? You then complain that they don't have a crash replacement policy like Specialized. How about you buy a Specialized then. You destroyed a repaired frame. Did you not feel comfortable riding the frame now but you trust the opinion of the repairer.
