Painting a new frame?!
Moderator: robbosmans
There is no Lifetime Warranty. The link clearly speaks of LIMITED warranty.
Cannondale frames (except frames for Freeride, and Dirt Jumping bikes, see below) are warranted by Cannondale Bicycle Corporation, 1 Cannondale Way, Wilton, CT against manufacturing defects in materials and/or workmanship for the lifetime of the original owner.
There are all kinds of exclusions.
Besides that when you after 8 years of using, you bring in your frame for warranty, your frame has no value anymore. And you used the frame for 8 years. With some simple calculation formulas the conclusion will be that you have no rights anymore to get a new frame , no money back etc. But maybe they offer you reduction bying a new frame. reduction of the adviced price which means you wil be hardly cheaper out than buying in a store with Retail prices.
Warranty like this is just like the small letters Insurance companies use.
Always less covered than you expect.

The new paint job is being designed by Ronald Jones (custom bikes for Sagan, Contador, Uran, Nibali, Boonen etc) and will be painted at Lumar Colors in Italy. It will look like a factory edition, rather similar to the Sagan Limited Edition, but with some other texts on.

Lugnegard; they appear to be using a fair amount of decals, and then clear coating over the top of them...
Painting everything with stencils would be better...

Yes, it will be painted by Lumar Colors (www.lumarcolors.it) in Italy, designed by Ronald Jones (probikedesign.com).
It will be very similar to Sagans TdF 2013 bike, later sold as a replica called EVO Sagan signature edition. I really like how clean and scaled down Jones desiged, so he will tweak it slightly and remove the "100" text and add EVO instead, plus a personal little graphic.
