Hey weenies,

I'm currently on the market as I want to bike my dream bike.

A custom or semi-custom modern, relaxed road bike, with everything current bikes technology has to offer: Hydraulic disc brakes, Di2, Thru-Axle front, carbon fork ...

...and it seems like every single good company is in the US:

-SpeedVagen
-Moots
-Firefly
-Argonaut
-Parlee
-Even Baum in Australia

Europeans are left with classic frame builders, who love mechanical groupsets, boring paint jobs, and outdated rim brakes?

Do you know where I could find a good company in the EU, with a MODERN mindset?

I have 10 000 euros to blow, yet it seems no one wants my money.

I'm thinking of English Cycles, but the man is too expensive for me, and I don't want to want 3 years for a bike.

Ideas, please?

Shand Cycles, Scotland

Amaro, España might have something for you but his usual road bikes are with rim brakes, but he's really creative and is skilled for everything

Field Cycles, England

Dario Pegoretti.
Doriano De Rosa's Bixxis.
Darren Crisp of Crisp Titanium.

These may not be modern to you but it will definitely be timeless.

Looking at the posts above there are a multitude of builders in Europe making amazing bikes in Steel, Ti or Carbon.

I have to admit, the tone of the OP left me thinking, nah, I won't provide any useful input to this one...

I love my Saffron Frameworks custom stainless steel frame. Got an Argonaut on order as well, so hopefully I'll love that as much when it comes. Both builders have been a joy to deal with.
