I've enjoyed my 2009 Scott Addict so much that I recently upgraded to the 2014 SL. Why the 2014 instead of the 2015 or 16? Because it's a few grams lighter than the more recent variants. It's probably only because of the minimalistic matt black finish, but since I enjoy the look anyway, that along with a lower purchase price was simply gravy.

IAC, my medium (54MM) weight was as follows:

Uncut fork: 264 grams and 252 when cut to a slammed height.
Frame plus hardware: 736 grams

Current total weight fork and frame: 988 grams

It's currently configured with the Dura Ace 9000 mech gruppo and Edge 45MM carbon clinchers on DT Swiss 180 hubs for a ready to ride weight of 13.4 pounds. If I'm able to find a pair of Reynolds RZR tubular wheels at a reasonable price, it will be about 5600 grams.

I wonder if Scott Addict SL has been revised in any way from 2014?
Not talking color or such. I mean construction, layup or wall thickness?

Open *UP* (2016.04.14)
Paduano Racing Fidia (kind of shelved)

Shouldn't be - at least between HMX, HMX-SL frames.
Wonder when the addict is due for an update. 2013 - 2018?

Bumping this topic for anything new.

*and if you're contributing something new, let's get:
1. Verified weights
2. Frame weights must include all attachments necessary for function (such as derailleur hanger, clamps, cable guides, etc:.)

Anyone know the weight of a Giant Advanced SL frame, or frameset? What would be the approximate weight of the uncut seatpost? I have a size small, 2017, that I forgot weight before building it. Thanks!

Does the new Cervelo R5 or previous gen come close to 1000g?
