Hi Pedal Masters,
I have a pair of old Look Keo Carbon Ti pedals, in good condition.
I find out that the Look Keo Carbon Blade (1st gen.) has 33% more contact area and 9mm wider support width.
Can I transplant the Ti axle to a Blade body? As far as I see, the axle disassemble for them both use 19mm wrench.

Self answering:
No, at least not exchangable between Keo carbon and Keo 2 Max (I guess Keo 2 Max and Keo Blade use the same axles, exempted from liability)
To service Keo Carbon (as the fixation of axle shown in the previous photo)/2 Max/Blade, use a 19mm ring wrench and easily done. The screw torque is not very high so maybe use adjustable wrench replacing 19mm ring one possible.
But in fact Keo 2 Max and Keo Blade have two bigger bearings. I believe they are more durable.
