Integrated bar/stem combos
Moderator: robbosmans
What an incredible craftsmanship! Jure makes it so neat and clean, it's like this is how it came standard.

VERY stiff though and not that light.
Generally the one-piece systems are more bling than functionality.

That's my Argonaut. FYI I replaced that bar with a Schmolke/ENVE Stem Combo. I liked everything about the Ritchey in terms of shape/stiffness and Vibration absorption. However the one thing it sucked at was Bump absorption. Big bumps are jaring as there is no give so I replaced it.
I have the same bar (Ritchey) on my Speedvagen and was out riding on Crushed stone (very fine gravel) yesterday for an hour - again it was awesome at Vibration absorption. I may leave it on that frame as it's a Rugged Road and the 35mm tires suck up a lot of bumps!

They don't sell these anymore. They only come along with the Trek SLR bike. I talked to Bontrager directly and they told me so.
Bikes:
Ax Lightness Vial EVO Race (2019.01.03)
Open *UP* (2016.04.14)
Paduano Racing Fidia (kind of shelved)
Ex bike; Vial EVO D, Vial EVO Ultra, Scott Foil, Paduano ti bike.

Hmm that's heavier than a steel-bolt Kalloy Uno 7 stem (115g) and an aero drop bar (225g) together.

Yeah, I'm probably going to end up going for an Enve SES Aero drop bar and a Fizik stem. Weight should be around 370-380g, and hopefully around the same stiffness as most of the integrated set ups with an aero gain as well.
My preferred solution would have been getting an Enve stem integrated to the SES Aero bars by someone like Berk but it would have been ridiculously expensive, so I've had to compromise/give up on that one.

It only comes on the Emonda SLR 10 (none of the other models come with it, and it isn't available via Project 1, either). Sven Nys has one on his Boone, but obviously, we aren't sponsored like he is.
