Di2+disc+TT+XTR Display?
Moderator: robbosmans
Hi WW
Have any of you tried (or read about) combining the following 11 spd DI2 equipment:
Ultegra Di2 rd
Ultegra Di2 fd
ST-R785 + BR-R785 Hydraulic Disc Brake
Di2 SW-R671 tt shifters
and
XTR Di2 SC-M9050 System Information Display
?
My road bike is currently equipped with Ultegra Di2 and TRP Hy/Rd brakes. I am contemplating on swiching these for the di2 hydraulic ST-R785, adding clip-ons and SW-R671 tt shifters AND the XTR di2 display.
Will all these work together?

That should all work as the display can be used to replace the A junction. The shifters and TT buttons are all fine too.
The only issue is that the display only has 3 ports and you have 5 wires wanting to fit, so either the TT shifters would have to be wired into the shifters under the bar tape (although I can't find an answer for how many ports there are on the shifters) or if you plan on taking the clip-ons off reguarly, you could install a second B junction near the stem and just plug the TT shifters into that to save taking the bar tape up every time.
Of course the simplest option is just to use a 5 port A junction and not worry about what gear you're in

The R785 shifters just have one E-tube port, at least mine does.
But you can use a JC41 to add TT shifters since they have their own "brain".
Adding sprint shifters with R785 requires a lot more work.
