I'm thinking about buying a Litespeed T5G frame.

Now I have a Lynskey R230 M/L with a stack of 57,5 and a reach of 38,24.
I have no spacers.

When I compare that to the Litespeed T5G M/L frame I see a stack of 61 and a reach of 38. This is a difference of 3,5 cm in stack. This is huge.
When I take a look at the Litespeed T5G Medium, I see a stack of 58,5 and a reach of 37,5.
But I'm affraid this frame will be too small?

I mailed the shop and they suggest to choose a M/L frame and mill down the head tube by 1 cm.
The shop says that the strength of the head tube is not affected and the warranty is not affected.

What are your thoughts?
Choose a M or a M/L frame?

My thoughts would be to get a Tommasini Mach Ti!!

Then you can have it hand made in Italy to whatever geometry you like :)

unless you have some fantastically good reason for getting a Lightspeed (i.e. free?), milling the head tube to get closer on fit sounds like a monumentally bad idea. Yes it can be done, but maybe you start cutting into the heat affected zone on the tubing, or getting out of a butted, reinforced part of the head tube, or the tube is slightly distorted where the top and down tubes well on.
If your current set up is right, and you can't make the Lightspeed fit with standard parts, find another frame. The poster above has the right idea.
