I really loved my campagnolo Bora One 35 clinchers until I developed a mysterious crack/dent in the sidewall of the front wheel that required repair. I guess rims are hard to come by because they quoted me 60 days for a repair...yikes

Not at all aero, but Dura Ace c24's are stupidly dependable. Been running them everyday, through rain, on rough roads etc. Easily done over 10,000km's and they're still going strong.

+1. Got a set going on 3yrs now. ~10k miles, rain, sun and plenty time on rollers with load. Still true and probably as reliable as any wheel can come. The hubs are great and compare well to my Chris King Ceramic.

With all case, lightweight is the best choice.

I am heavy and the front is flexy, but the rear is rock solid. It's very strange, there is a possibility that there are issues with front it's so bad, it pulsates while breaking, and my other wheels don't ......

When I bought them, I though it would be the other way round .....

i sufer from that problem to with my c24 at the first but now with toe brake pads the problem is gone.

i think c24 are superb wheels for the cost

What do you think about Reynolds ASSAULT SLG ( http://www.reynoldscycling.com/wheels/Assault-SLG_V2) ?
And between SLG and Bora One 35 ?

.

I warrantied a pair due to front wheel pulsing under brake load. Shimano only provides warranty on sets so I got a complete new set. The new front still pulsed a bit. Shop owner said to turn wheel around. I did and braking is smooth as silk. It's a known remedy. Give it a try.

Campagnolo wheels. Check your budget, your requirements, don't look back. Never have had a single hitch with a Campagnolo wheel set. Cannot say the same about other wheels.

3000+ USD :) ? No way I will pay this amount for a wheelset, sorry :(
So, any thoughts about Reynolds ASSAULT SLG or Bora One 35 :) ?

But you'd pay $1500 for a wheelset?

A $1500-$2500 wheelset is going to save you a handful of seconds at real world speeds.

So, you can forgo a few watts saved and get a really nice 1400 gram wheelset for well under $1000 or a 1500 gram wheelset for under $500.

What's your budget?

2nd'd on the 3.4's. I've owned the tubbie and Clincher version (as well as the 6.7's in both) and the 3.4's are my go to set for most days.
