will do these days, step by step

I did order this frame from China. It has some simmalarities to a Treck Madone, but does not fit this model 100%. I like the flowting lines and shapes...even if this frame is heavy.

Fastdad, Fantastic. Welcome. Great to have you on here.
That's a wicked looking combo.
Please post some of your fantastic derailleurs and keep us up to speed on any other projects.
I follow you on the light bike forum but your English is obviously better than my German.

1. step...a tube, that will fitt tight to the head tube of the fork.

I have a 6cm piece of the head tube of my fork. I covered it with a very thin layer of PVA.
Then I wrapt around 4 layers of 240g carbon tissue and compressed it.

Image

After the hardening i put the piece in some hot water, to soften the PVA

Image

To remove the outer tube I used a clamping cone and some spacers

Image
Image

as you can see...the PVA is wet

for the clamp mechanism itself I made a cut into this first tube and 2 wholes at the edges.

A friend of mine made me some aloy bolt nuts
I attached them to the tube an wraped arround some layers of 12k rovings
