Possibly covered a thousand times I have the new version with the carbon matrix axles . My knees were hurting to begin with but I think in time I will get used to them .Anyone had problems from the get go ?!!! The lack of float will be sorted soon as I am deisgning a bearing integrated into a plate to attach tot he shoe's sole and then attached to the cleats .

Another point is that being an engineer I am used to trying odd things so I am actually putting these on my xc race bike would you believe !!! The lack of seals isn't a problem as they would be cleaned regularly . THe build up of mud isn't a problem as the bike is designed (my choice) for dirt trails only . The carbon matrix axles - well that could be a problem but after the initial test no cracks or anything . Very little build up of dirt under the turcite sleeve . Just the sore knees !!!

At 20 grams each I cannot complain and really want them to work .
