Since Catlike's support is entirely unresponsive and local dealers are completely clueless about what they sell, I'll come to you guys!

I have a Whisper Plus helmet from 2011 when it still used a rubber retention strap (that part that broke). Still in fine condition and it's been used mostly at night for the past 2 years since the holes are great for mounting a light onto, so not a lot of UV degradation (if that's actually a thing).

Broken strap style:

It does appear that they changed the retention system to something else (even before the current MPS EVO system):

Anyone know of any acceptable replacement for this piece? Haven't found anything aside from alternatives to the current MPS EVO system, which doesn't seem like it would work.

Thanks! The only distributor information I had was when they were distributed by Serotta, so that was clearly no longer relevant :(

I'll give them a call, but failing that I'm going to start messaging employees via LinkedIn.

I have dealt with Hawley before on a Prologo saddle warranty...very knowledgable and quick service. Good luck
