Could folks post, along with their preferred tube, whether it has a threaded valve or a smooth one?

Do lyzene pumps that thread on work with these smooth valves?
Lezyne's pump heads thread on the core valve, so whether the valve is smooth or threaded it doesn't matter.

Michelin's tubes have the smooth valve variety.

Continental Race 700. had too many pinch flats with the Light or Supersonics...maybe because i suck at mounting tires. since i've been using the tire talc, i haven't had any issues since.

Paired with GP4000s, after 2300km still puncture free(luckily?) and surprisingly, improved ride feel noticeably!
I was less lucky with the Continental Supersonic inner tires, so I'm using the normal Continental race tubes at 105 gr. each. The Continental Supersonic inner tires only weigh 50 gr. so half of the normal ones ...

Please excuse me if my suggestion is too basic but it took me some time to figure it out. Of course, I'm stupid.
Anyhow, when you're mounting a tire make sure that you keep the side that is already mounted and the part you're mounting in the middle of the rim. As the inside of the rim is concave you'll get that extra yield that will allow you to mount the rest of the tire more easily. Tires that I could hardly mount with levers, now I can mount with my fingers. I hope this helps.

My favourite compromise is Specialized Turbo 48mm valve.
Pluses are that they are relatively light (70g from memory), hold air well (much better at this than Supersonics), easy to install and come pre talced.
Downsides are availability (only from Specialized retailers and usually not online) and cost.
Cheers
