A no go, or a yes go for this pulley (re)invention?

The CS setup shifts fine with 9070 if you're running round rings and everything is tuned well. If you have offbeat parts in your drivetrain that make shifting less than optimal -- this would be QXL rings for one, so Im thinking maybe other oval rings too -- then it might make shifting poor enough to make you rethink. Its a small difference but sometimes it doesn't take much.
