Hi Guys,

I went to my lbs today to have a sram pf30 Bb installed as I don't have the press to install myself, now this chain set has come out of my other frame which was bb30, when the chainset was in the bb30 bottom bracket it spun really freely when unchained but this pf30 seems a little stiff, as this is my first experience with them I don't know if this is normal, I have attached a video hopefully giving you a idea of what I'm talking about.

It doesn't make any noise and seems to run smoothly but it just feels a bit stiff when throwing the pedals.

New bearings tend to be stiff until the seals break in. Yours actually look less stiff than mine did. Give them 500 miles, then check again.
My favorite components are the ones I never have to think about.

Its fine. Normal for a new bottom bracket packed with bearing grease. You wont notice a difference when actually pedaling.
