"From Competitive Cyclist website:
""One final note on the Genius 6.6 Carbon , which holds meaning when considering any Sidi shoe. All Sidi shoes are fully repairable and all small parts on them are fully replaceable. Even if you tear the Lorica on your shoe, Sidi can repair it quickly and inexpensively. Once you find the right shoe and the right fit, it's not unheard of to keep a pair of Sidis for a decade's worth of riding. As wear and tear (and accidental damage) happen to your shoes, Sidi will be there to nurse your original shoes back to health."""

Has anyone had any actual experience sending shoes back to sidi?

Uh oh....just visited the website and noticed the same thing. Pave has been my everyday tubular for a long time....best do everything tubular! Does this mean that we would start buying out any left over stock from Ribble and other regular suppliers?

I'd think it would have a significantly greater impact in those venues than on the road.

It seems they have:

Same. I have been using open Paves and have just bought some Pave tubs for some tubbies I am putting together. Do I buy? Good question.

Don't you guys find too many bikes start to look same same?

I actually wonder, let's say lay up is Nr:1 and tube shapes also to some degree affect ride feel, for the ease, all versions had same geometry.

How many differences could we really detect if we were introduced to ride, let's say 20 bikes without seeing any of them (impossible i know)

But let's say it was!

There are so many options i guess there must be several frames we could not notice any difference between.

Or?

I think aero bikes are all starting to look very similar
2024 BMC TeamMachine R Building
2018 BMC TImeMachine Road
2002 Moots Compact-SL- getting aero look makeover
2019 Parlee Z0XD - "classified"
2023 Pivot E-Vault - completed project, full Xplr package

You mean like back in the day when people projected different properties on steel tubesets without being able to actually differentiate them when they were blinded?

I'd guess you wouldn't be able to reliably differentiate any of them.
