Oh yes i can for sure. I have two bikes which are very different and i can assure you, anyone of you could tell the difference between them.
But you are otherwise right on. But i am not sure many bikes are that different if the geo would be same.

There must simply be an end to what differences you can feel using only lay up and tube profile.

What i mean, let's say you ride a stick like Foil, and then you change into something that feels like a steel bike but a bit stiffer.
Sure you can feel the difference as these are rather opposite.
Bikes:

Ax Lightness Vial EVO Race (2019.01.03)
Open *UP* (2016.04.14)
Paduano Racing Fidia (kind of shelved)

Ex bike; Vial EVO D, Vial EVO Ultra, Scott Foil, Paduano ti bike.

Did anyone happen to check out the R5 Bar/Stem combo at the BLKTEC stand by any chance? would love any info thoughts/opinions about them.
maybe not the most exciting thing for most at eurobike though

Enve is out of control offering those hubs for that price with DT internals. I know they come with Ceramic bearings and are full carbon, but you can build a set of Tune/Extralite wheels laced to decent alloy rims for the price of the Enve hubs alone. Those guys are blowing it. They couldn't keep them in stock if they were priced the same as Tune 70/170, Extralite or even CKR45's... Maybe they've never heard of the DT180 hubs.. The most overpriced mediocre hub ever.

All the bikes are going to start looking even more a like.

1. They are designed around the "wonderful" UCI shitty rules.

2. There are only three or four good bike designers and last year around xmas they all changed companies.

3. Nobody can take any risks because of number one above, even if they come up with a great design that meets all the rules, they have no idea WTF the UCI would do.

Hi all,

Just back from Eurobike and thought I would post a couple of pics.. I did a quick scan but couldn't see any other threads on Eurobike 2015 so please feel free to add any Eurobike pics you have to this thread...

Cheers Lig.

First up is Festka. These frames really did look awesome. First is Ti/Carbon followed by full Carbon, then full Ti.

Bit of Basso....

Then Colnago C60s - Limited edition gold (100 made) and special edition yellow (and there was a red one too)! Colnago receive the right brake shifter un-assembled, they paint it and then assemble it and add a touch of Italian style to the chainset.... It looked ace!

I'm liking that Basso a lot!! And that yellow C60 isn't too shabby either. The gold isn't really my thing. Thanks for sharing your pics.

Most likely, the Vittoria tires will not be available for some time to the general public. I'm meeting with Vittoria at Interbike and will have a better idea then. Their wheels took forever to release after they announced them. My team was the first on them in the world and once the Quarano's (their carbon tubulars) got here, it was us and the neutral race support that had them. As far as I know they are pretty readily available.

The Italians move pretty slow, they announce it, then make it, then release it.
green jacket, gold jacket...who gives a sh*t
