What do we make of these C series bikes? Comfort racers or gravel racers? who has some more inside info?

C is for cyclocross.

Could probably throw whatever term you want at them cyclocross/gravel bike...etc.

I think considering the number of poor quality reproductions coming from various sources in the far east, we probably should not get overly excited until there are images from the show floor at Eurobike and/or Cervelo posts an actual press release.

Why? Those pictures are from a 2016 dealer catalog.

Knew the R3 disc was coming but these C bikes look very interesting to me. I'm very curious to see tire clearance front and rear.

@Frankie, they look a good bit like my Jamis Renegade. So to answer your question, both gravel and comfort racer - down to the tire choice!
Road bike: Cervelo R3, Campagnolo Chorus/Record mix...
Supercommuter: Jamis Renegade...
Oldie but goodie: De Rosa Professional Slx, Campagnolo C-Record...
And you can call me Macktastik Honey Pete Kicks, thank you.

The C series see to be using the flat mount specification while the R3 Disk is using the post mount...

I really hope that is the new dura ace series di2 hydro levers on that c5. And that they are not made out of cast iron like the current non-series ones :)

The C5 front wheel has radial spokes with disc brake... That doesn't seem right.

The photos are real. Someone on the Cervelo forum took them from the actual brochure.
