I have a set of 2010 mv32ul's which i still love to ride. Has anyone converted these (or the dv46's) to 11sp?

if so, did you just use the dt swiss 240s 11sp conversion or something else?

cheers!

Well, not those exact wheels but they use DT hubs, right. I had a set of DV46UL rims laced to some DT Swiss 190 hubs (2010 vintage). Sold them to about with new Dura ace 9000 (11 spd). Super easy to convert. Just get the 11spd free hub from DT Swiss which has a new freehub and a different end cap. Don't even need any tools for the conversion. DT freehub just pull right off.

I think the 2010's use the DT hub, but if they have the KT hubs, you can buy an 11-speed freehub from Reynolds. I think it runs about $75. You'll need two allen wrenches to convert the hub.

Thanks peeps!

seems to be consistent with: http://www.reynoldscycling.com/uploads/Reynolds_2010_v6%282%29.pdf and just found this incidentally which looks like the dt swiss hub conversion but in reynolds colourways.

Just an update... tried to yank off the freehub (like all other dt swiss hubs i think?) but for the life of me it wouldn't budge... fail.

any ideas on how to remove the hub?

On stubborn hubs, I sometimes have to tap the retaining cover from behind, then once that comes out, I can remove the freehub.

If the above doesn't work, you can re-install the cassette (loosely) and use a large cone wrench behind the big cog to pop the end cap and body loose. Not ideal, but it works.

Conversion all went well with the dt swiss 11sp hub... just needed more muscle and a vice!

I have DV46T Ul's with DT Swiss 240 hubs on them (10-speed currently). When you get the upgrade were you able to use the cheaper black free hub or were you made to go for the more expensive blue free hub?

The blacks work fine.
