Finishing kit advice for evo team
Moderator: robbosmans
Hi guys, I have a hi mod team that I am currently building up and I'm struggling to find some finishing kit I'm happy with.
I'm after something glossy that will fit well with the colour way, the frame has plenty of green and white with black as well.
Naturally there's the standard fsa k force stuff but I was thinking something different as the fsa kit seems a bit overdone and overkill!!
I need a carbon Seatpost and Bars, the stem can be either carbon or alloy.
Lastly the seatpost needs to be 27.2.
Look forward to your suggestions.

+1 on Ritchey WCS
I've just got myself a WCS Carbon Logic Curve bar, WCS C260 stem & WCS carbon 1 bolt seat post. All seem to offer good cost to weight. The stem also performed reasonably well in the FairWheel test. Not ridden any of it yet though

Same here. My team himod has all wcs carbon parts (post, bars, stem, headset). Black UD gloss/wet finish. We actually have whole team of bikes with mix of Caads and evos using all ritchey, sram, zipp, speedplay, fizik. We even have a few sets of the Ritchey apex wheels (reynolds assault rebranded). It's a good setup for us, no complaints.

Specalized SWorks stuff is really nice. Minimal Logos, if any at all. Light, stiff and really well made, especially the seat posts.
If you like 3T - I run their Bars (Tornova Team Stealth 42cm ~205gr) and Seatpost (Stylus Ltd Stealth ~165gr, 350mm) on my Bikes (Seatpost just on the Caad). The Seatpost is not the lightest but the clamping mechanism is strong and secure and the compliance factor high. I even might get another one for the Evo as I prefer the clamping mechanism to the typical ultra light ones.
Supersix HiMod, Supersix EVO HiMod, Crux, CaadX, Lynskey R330 & Pro29, Yelli Screamy 29

Fizik is "the new 3T" in bars, stems and posts for me. I really like what they are doing. 3T has overplayed their hand a bit, at least in my eyes, with the bent lines etc.
If you want to see 'meh' content of me and my bike you can follow my life in pictures here!'Tape was made to wrap your GF's gifts, NOT hold a freakin tire on.'
