Now I don't know if anyone else has noticed this, but it would appear that there are two types of rear end. One where there is no cut out and the other which obviously has. Can't see any explanation about this. Is one an early C60 frame and they slightly modified the design???? Any thoughts

That first frame looks very small? I am guessing but would suggest to get the correct geometry on a small frame there just isn't the stay length to use the same lugs?

Yeah, I'd go with size too. that first frame is clearly a lot smaller.

Its due to the size of the frame, if you notice the non cut out frame is a lot smaller, and there isn’t enough room for the cut out
