Anyone have any experience with these? At 180g they're WW, but I only remember the feel of riding with a garden hose wrapped around my wheels when using the old tufo tires.

I've got a set, and don't really care for 'em that much. I got 'em when they were ~$60 for the pair, so I'm not out a lot of money.

They're light, but the ride quality wasn't that impressive. Not quite garden hose feeling, but I've definitely ridden much smoother rolling clinchers. They also don't have much for puncture protection. I flatted twice on 'em, both times it was a very small piece of wire that penetrated the tire.

I'd recommend for a race tire, if you're racing on clinchers. They gripped pretty good, but they're too thin for an everyday tire, unless you live where the roads are super nice.

Saw this posted on the Interwebs a long time ago: 'Friends don't let friends ride on Tufo tires'
