I've somehow bent the rails on my Selle AnAtomica Titanico X, and I'm hunting a new saddle. Ordered a selle italia slr flow and it seems narrow on the sit bones. What other saddles should I take a look at and try out? AnAtomica is 145 mm and was comfortable, but after bending rails not sure I want to continue running it and replacing rails all the time.

Might order a SLR super flow in 145mm, but saddle flipping will take a while and will get expensive.

antares 00. light (141g), ~ 143 mm wide. i found the slr too narrow too, antares is very good. on the way i tried a san marco regale (too much curve) and san marco aspide (like slr).

I am riding on the full carbon version of the Fizik Kurve Chameleon, I really like it.

Initially I bought the snake version based on the Fizik sizing guide, but there was something about it that wasn't right. So I swapped for the chameleon version which come out a little flatter and wider. I have ridden about 4000 miles on it now and no complaints. Its not the lightest out there but the design does make it very comfortable. Even though the materials are mainly plastic and carbon I did find that there was a couple of weeks where the saddle needed slight braking in.

If you like Selle Italia, why not take a Flite instead of SLR?

Paduano Racing Fidia (kind of shelved)

Selle Italia is the first one I tried out. Will try the flite.

Will check out the Fizik!

I'm unfamiliar with a lot of the saddles out there. Was looking for suggestions to try and narrow the search.

I used Arione but recently I bought AX lightness leaf plus.
Then put Arione on the market.
You know what I mean.

What about the Spec Toupe Pro or S-works in 143mm? Only saddle I ride as I need a stiff flat saddle with a cut-out.

Tried a Flite and switched back to the SLR and it was more comfortable.

Going to try a Fizik Arione.

Will have to hit up some other LBS around here and see if they have Spec.

I switched to a Spec Romin Pro/Romin Evo on one bike a few years ago and now have them on all of my bikes. May never switch again!

Trying out a Fizik Antares R1 and so far it's very good.

I need a wider saddle and ride a Antares 00 and the SLR Max 143. They are similar in width and shapes but the Selle Italia has a wide channel and a little narrower nose. If SLR is too Narrow not sure I would go with the Flite. I rode the original flight saddle, used to bottom out on seatpost on hot days, also not much wider than SLR, just flatter.

Been looking at the SLR Super Flow... Price is up there. Been able to find a lot of saddles on Amazon warehouse deals. I've got an Antares coming, and stopped by a shop yesterday and they have a demo saddle that they are recommending as well.

Rode the flow this morning and it's not too bad. I might have had a bad angle on the first SLR ride, so I'll try it again on the next ride. The Arione isn't too bad.
