Sorry if this is a stupid/obvious question but can I straight up swap my FSA Gossamer Pro chainring (2015 synapse) and spider for the fancy-looking SiSL2's machined 10-arm spider yet keep the Si arms? From the diagrams it seems like the crank arm and the 5-point spider ring of the FSA are detachable... so I'm thinking all I have to do is buy that fancy-looking 10-arm spider and no other components (i.e. without the rest of the crankset) and I'm good to go.

Thoughts?

yes no issues, i did the same, from a 5 Arm 130mm BCD Spider to the Spiderring

you need the Cannondale KT012 SI Chainset Lock Ring Tool

Just to confirm you're saying it's ok for the Si (which I have); that one is slightly less common than the Sl (as in SL) and I've seen it misread before.

they the spider interface is the same on all Hollowgrams, even going way back to the old Silver ones, mine were 1st gen black ones, 6/7 years old and i switched the spider last year

Just to add to this:

I've used the same Si arms on a 1) Direct mount MTB chainring 2) 76mm XX1 spider 3) 104mm MTB spider 4) 130mm spider 5) SpiderRing 6) SRM.

As others have said, yes. I swapped the chainring on my SuperSix Evo from the stock FSA to the Spidering.
