Campagnolo has been pretty tight lipped for the 2016 line.. usually by now something is around?? Here comes wireless 12 speed???
Anyways some "rumors" I have heard are:
Smaller internal EPS battery with remote charging system
Upgrade of Veloce to 11s with upgrades to new bolt pattern (Id assume Athena would go as well)?
Hydraulic brakes... boo hisss
Direct mount brakes... guess Campagnolo is sick of Movistar riding around on Shimano brakes!
Like I said these are all rumors Ive heard or seen posted on the net...

Hmm the old PT athena carbon chainset iweighs less with PT cups, than the new chorus with UT cups, thereby, I'd assume the new design would add a little weight. Though looks 100times better, than the old one (still not at the level of looks of DA or ultegra, just my 2 cents)
The levers got an upgrade for 2015 for both Veloce and Athena (slightly re-designed internals-thumbie)
I'd say, they will not touch these two groups for a few years...

I really, really hope they keep the silver polished Athena-11 line going.
That is pretty much the last "classy" groupset there is. Black/grey/carbon grouppo's just don't belong on some bikes!

Saying something looks better is subjective and worthless. It's different that it. There is a market for the 5 arm chainset in silver if campagnolo ditch it them folks with older bikes will end up using old kit which is a bit limiting. Athena as it is has its place and there is no competition.
