I have a Caad 10 frame which I'm upgrading to an Evo frame. Both have a BB30 BB. But my Praxis Works BB30 BB from the Caad 10, doesn't fit in the Evo BB. What's missing on the Evo frame, since both are supposed to be the same:

I really don't know, I just thought it was BB30, because of the big BB30 sign under the down tube (see pics)...

^ thanks, I know those links. I just don't exactly know, how to put it together. Do I install that sleeve/shim from the picture first?

PF30 is BB30, just a pressed in version. Sell your BB and get the correct PF30 version.

I've got this one:

http://www.praxiscycles.com/product/shi ... ersion-bb/

It says both BB30 and PF30, I guess it's supposed to fit...

OP, on your link above is an installation video that covers a PF30 installation.

Are you sure you should be doing this?

My hunch is you need to slip the sleeve over your existing bottom bracket. If you look at the instructions
http://www.praxiscycles.com/wp-content/ ... ctions.pdf
You will see for a press fit it requires the sleeve, but a bb30 it does not. That should make up the difference. (Never used one just read the instructions)

I own both the Shimano conversion bottom bracket and the M30 bb, and you will need to purchase the $8 dollar sleeve to make it fit a PFBB30. I used the sleeve on my old NeilPryde Alize, but I no longer use it when I switched my crank over to my CAAD10.

I hope this helps.

Thanks guys.

I suspected the sleeve was the solution, but now I know for sure. I just really don't get, why Cannondale puts a big BB30 under the frame next to the BB, if it really os PF30.

Because it fits a BB30 crank?
