My powercordz swift cables have started to creak horrendously. Any clues or ideas how to stop the creak?

Spray WD40, clean up excess with rag. Repeat every few months (or sooner if you get caught in the rain...).

WD40 does nothing good for your bike/anything else other than it smells ok. Please use a silicone based lubricant.

with nokon, ptfe dry lube works well

drizzle along the cable, wiggle to help it penetrate between segements, wipe off excess

I had similar issues with my Powercordz. I was running them in Aican Bungarus housing. I ended up taking everything apart and found the Powercordz cable outer lining was no longer smooth. Powercordz are not very forgiving in terms of dirt and dust build-up. I would suggest inspecting the cable if lube doesn't work.
