FSA nano k handlebars - any user's review?

All,
Ran into an opportunity to buy a new-take-off FSA nano k bars.
Anyone using it?
Any good, bad, ugly stuff?

Is it stiff? Does it dampen vibrations nicely?

Oh... I quite like the EA70 I am running, though some more dumping of vibrations would be nice.

(Easton EA70 al bar, neutrons, vittoria diamanté clinchers with butil tubes)

Nano k? Do you mean K-Force Compact? I've been riding K-Force Compact for years and found it comfortable, in both damping deparment and shape. It's not the stiffest carbon bar I've ever ridden but it's plenty stiff for a sub-130lbs rider.

Yes, it's the FSA k-force compact.

Regarding sizing - did you have to size up on this bar? I have read somewhere that the size FSA uses is not at the hoods rather at the dropouts (which flare out)...

Hey,

I have a set of Nano-Ks. For me its all about shape - their shape facilitates genuine comfort in both the hoods and the drops. They're more comfy than ergonovas or enve's imo. The sizing is for the drops, they're slightly narrower in the hoods - my 40cms are 39cm at the hoods. I am like 135-140lb, so stiffness isnt an issue. In fact Ive never noticed handlebar stiffness to be an issue. Weight was something around 185g i.e. nano's are just lighter versions of regular K-force.

Would you assume for someone (much) heavier than you - 190 lbs - stiffness would be an issue?

I'm 180lbs and don't have a problem with stiffness - using these bars I mean ☺

I just measured my K-Force Compact 40 and it's 39.5 cm outside-to-outside. One thing I really like about this bar is how it filters unwanted noises from road. In comparison the Salsa Bell Lap on my other bike is just brutal as it transmits everything to my hands. Maybe that's how carbon vs. alum is like?
