I certainly wouldn't through alu frames 'out.' My TCR SLR probably has the best bottom bracket stiffness of any bike I've ever ridden.

I don't have an issue with mine.
My SW Allez is my cruising bike. If I want to ride a stiff bike I will ride me SW Venge.

That's how I like it

I got the similar problem with mine. It is a comfy bike, but the rear brake rub has drove me crazy. I'm used to ride my break quite open for the long reach and even tho anytime I went from the saddle I get the annoying rub on the rear brake.

Sure, the wheels I used could have been more stiff and it got better with training Fulcrums 5 CX, but I am selling the frame now. It just didint get that snappy feeling like other carbon frames I used to ride and now I have bought old Venge. Suprisingly I have expected much harsher ride.
