Just picked up 1 of these:
http://www.nopinz.com/product/nopinz-speedconcept-tt/

Not cheap, but the number holder is a great idea to stop it getting wrecked from safety pins week in and week out.

Used it for the first time at the weekend, in a 50m TT, and its comfortable.
Not used to having long sleeves so that was a bit different.

It is very definitely a "skinsuit", so prepare to find a few bulges where you didn't think you had :-0

You'll want a short/short version. When you are doing crits or TT's you're on the rivet, you'll not be thinking about how comfortable you are, and your body is producing the maximum amount of heat. If it's very cold, you can always wear armwarmers. And you'll probably not do crits or TT's in weather, where you'll need legwarmers.

Long sleeve, short leg. Looks best and aero!

Club kit is a sportful bodyfit pro which is nice.

Also like the Castelli San Remo or Body Paint.

Rapha's new aero speedsuit looks pretty nice too, if you like all black.

It's hard to beat the Castelli San Remo for ease of use and practicality.

Long sleeve and long leg is fastest. It's important to buy the correct fit which is actually smaller than you think. You shouldn't be able to stand upright in your skinsuit, but in position it should be perfect. The fastest skinsuits on the market are the Castelli BP3, NoPinz (both suits are fast), Assos Cronosuit, Smart Skinsuit as well as offerings from Bioracer and IMPSport. Get a NoPinz pocket fitted to any of the suits you decide to buy- well worth it.

Only go for one of the compromise suits (Castelli San Remo, Rapha, Specialized) if you're doing longer stage races as they're noticeably slower. Remember, it's easy to see a 10w difference between a good and bad skinsuit and you can potentially see another 10w buy going to one of the best skinsuits.
