Hi,
I've ridden one for the last 2 years. Awesome bike. Very light and very nimble. The fork is very thin and light but is one of the major pluses of the bike. I can tell you that you won't be dissapointed.

I have Izalco Max 1.0 frame which I assume is the same frame as 3.0

To be honest it's really great bike, light 760g + 296g (uncut) and rides really nice. Stiff but still comfortable.
Only thing is that matte black makes it look too generic boring and it should come in screaming colors to stand out.

i have a izalco max 14, custom build, with red, rotor p2max, several wheelsets. weight frame 715 gr. in 52, fork cut 285 gr.
very nice geometry. neutral steering, perfect for mountain-area. fast downhill is a pleasure!
workmanship 1a!
i personally like its slim, simple appearance. one of the very few current mainstream-cf framesets with traditional, slim, round tubes, going without any embellishment.
paintjob could be a little bit more original, but is ok. a matter of taste anyway.
so , recommendation! would buy it any time again.

Thank you guys

I'll buy one. But i'm not sure which frame size. 52 or 54. I'm 178cm tall and my INSEAM is 85cm. What do you think would be better?

I've never ridden a Sram Red 22. What's your opinion about the Red?

i also have an izalco max - i got the frame only and built it up with record and shamal mille wheels. a fantastic bike to climb and descend on! and as krull said, it still looks like a 'real' bike...

i'm also 178cm and 85cm and i have the 54cm. if you can get a professional fit done first, i would always recommend that.

I think you need the 54

Yes, 54 probably best. I am 173/85 (yes, very "leggy") and riding 52.
Note: izalco max comes with "acros the clamp" headset, which has a 17 mm top cap.

Thank you

I`ll buy the 54. What's your opinion about the Sram Red 22?

What are you trying to say to me with the notes?

......that the top cap is very high, compared to a traditional top cap, you can add 1 cm in length to the steerer tube.
Sorry, i am using red-10-speed, so i cant help you with the 11-speed.

Thanks

I`ll do it. But is the Arcos Headset also on the 3.0? What's your opinion about the Red 22?

Here you can see the 2016 lineup. The same as 2015. Only the paint scheme is different.

i have no opinion about red 22 - i've never used it.

there must be plenty of reviews out there. or go and hang out at a cafe where club rides finish - there will be plenty of opinions there! :)
