A year ago or something, it was hot to update the pulley wheels for Berner style with 13+15T wheels.
Anyone using this update with Shimano DA 9000 or Di2?
I wonder, how did it affect shifting?
Did or do you find lesser friction or is this another snake oil hocus pocus mod?

I have one from Fouriers fitted with 14t and 15t, and there's UCB speedcage as well. I just trust the science regarding its efficiency, and don't think it's something detectable by human perception when any drag or slickness can be attributed to any of the other drivetrain parts. The bling makes it worthwhile too. Image

Saw the Fouriers pulley + cage for sale online. Curious if it actually makes a difference. But at a cost of $150 USD, a little expensive for an experiment.

As you said, the science behind it sounds reasonable enough, but likely not going to be felt or noticed by humans. And certainly not by non-racers such as myself

Kayrenh, did you weight the cage from Fourier and the Shimano one to compare the weights?

Ah I didn't because I made the order and my mechanic put it on immediately as part of the bike build.

It seems to interest has cooled off on these small upgrades.
I would wonder, how much can you manipulate the chainline and even if maxed out, do you actually find any gains?

I'll beg to differ though - the guy who brought them in has great numbers to show for sales. Probably because it's an interesting upgrade that promises a little free speed; Not many component upgrades can do that.
