Looking for a seatpost for my frame after my constant need to fiddle with my bike and having an ISP frame I've decided to chop it off and maybe save weight at the same time.

Cheapest light post I've found is the Hylix at 160g for 410mm length but does anybody know anything lighter or actual weight for that one?
Would prefer this style of clamp as I have carbon railed saddle and can't be bothered swapping out clamps at more expense.

I don't think you will find any much cheaper than that. Better maybe, but not cheaper. Light and cheap rarely share the same sentence in the WW world...

I've wondered about this- do you really save weight cutting off an ISP and using a standard post config?

Also, I've been looking at the Hylix posts but I am not convinced of the durability vs my existing KCNC 31.6 alu post.

Weighed in a post on mtbr:

400 mm long KCNC Ti-Pro seatposts:

30,9/400 mm : 169g
31,6/400 mm : 172g

the 350 long versions weigh a bit less:
30,9/350 mm : 149g
31,6/400 mm : 152g

I've been using a 27.2 helix for about 1500k now with a carbon railed Arione and had no issues. It weighed 156.7g stock. I've since shortened the post so I have 10cm of insertion so it's a quite a bit lighter. I'm 80kg for reference.

I also have a 31.6 KCNC post, got it used a few years ago for $30 and have had no problems with it on my super six. ~160 grams if I remember correctly. I've even used it with a large (bikepacking) blackburn seatpack on a few centuries without issue.

Beware the Hylix seat post - I bought one from ebay last year when I was building up a 'good value' winter bike and it came in at more like 195g, instead of the quoted 160g, for the 27.2mm. Disappointing.

My preferred value, light weight seat post is the Condor Supremacy - about £80, minimalist design, and more like 150-160g.
