Those are awesome!

I run the same setup - Bont Zero 45's and aerolite. But not modded... :(

Something tells me mine are heavier. :oops:

Do you have a thread on your mods?

@Gearjunkie

Thanks, the process to what they look like today has been taken step by steps over a long period. From memory this is how I did it.
1. Wiped off the black logos and graphics on the upper with acetone, be careful to rinse with water afterwards. I didnt and some of the fibreglass upper started to slip off the carbon sole, but fixed the problem with some super glue, and its been holding up great ever since.
2. Used a knife to remove all the rubber parts on the carbon sole, left the heel part on though. Also removed all bolts and stuff from the rubber parts. Filled open holes with a little sugru.
3. To remove the lace cover I used this thing http://www.stoffogstil.no/ImageRoot//4/2/0/42015/42015_l.jpg, carefully from the upside on the cover.
4. Took some laces from some old running shoes, found a cool way to thread the laces on Youtube and Im tying them Phinney style http://rouleur.cc/sites/default/files/PhinneyQatar2013.jpg
5. Replaced the original insoles with some super thin insoles (which is meant to be used to make a shoe fit tighter). On those I have also used this belt thingy http://www.kulebelter.no/produkt-bilder/533-0.jpg to make holes, maybe I got a little better ventilation, but I dont think I saved that many grams.
Think that was all.
I have been through a lot of trouble to get the cleat aligned perfectly, to give me the right angle onto the Aerolite pedal. As the cleat cant be adjusted I used some mini files to file inside the two cleat holes you use. Removed the bolt attachment first, put those in after filing and filled with some epoxy kit at the opposite site of where I was filing. But that couldnt handle the constant force it was put through, super glue between cleat and sole seems to be the working solution.
