Hi guys

I think I've found my "perfect" set of wheels.

I'm looking for wheels around 38mm in depth to be my one and only set of all rounder wheels, the new wider type rims (approx 24-25mm), and lighter than my 2015 model Mavic R sys and staying within my budget.

I only ride in the dry and I weight 62kg.

So the price / performance wise I think the Ax lightness Premium 38 T fit the bill

Does any fellow members here have any reviews or tips to share in this set of wheels before I put my money down.

What do you want to know? Buy Tune version! You should check Schwalbe The One 24mms. They are perfect with these wheels ;-)

I have schwalbe one tyres. They are very hard wearing and great grip. Not so comfortable I thought.

I think they ride much better than any other tires i have used.
I notice the Vittoria feels mushy in compairson and Conti comp offers a harsher ride.
Do you use tubular version?
What width? I have both 22 and 24mm (tubs).

have you considered these?

http://lead-out.co.uk/index.php/spada-breva-carbon.html

spada Italian made - 970g pair and cheaper than the AX

Not used them myself but was and still am tempted. Current uk hill climbing champion uses them.

They wouldn't be a daily wheel I'm sure but for big days in the hills....

@wheelsonfire - yes tubs. i have ridden vittoria pave and they feel like balloons so i think i know what you mean there. i'd agree schwalbe's are nicer than conti. but not as nice as veloflex. but then better wearing and less likely to puncture i think. they do have good grip. i had them (just ripped them off) brand new LW's and i am hoping that some mixture of veloflex rubber will just increase comfort slightly, and drop some weight.
