Sorry to dig up the thread but not found this elsewhere. Has anyone replaced the pre-load cap with carbon? Is it the same size as with the Classic (so one could use an old one like Fibre Lyte or Tuning Pedals)?

The pre-load cap on the SE is threaded, versus a separate cap and bolt on the classic. In short, they're not interchangeable.

Just took delivery of my Clavicula SE from Germany and weighed it; turned out to be 300.8~301.0 grams with all hardware mounted.

172.5mm length, 110bcd and glossy finish. A little surprised at how far the actual weight differed from the stated weight for a THM product.

Were the THM specs referring to 170mm lengths with matt clear finish ?

I have the original claviculas, the weights came in almost exactly on the dot.

I'm not sure.

I searched through google and found some of the SE's to be as low as 270 odd grams.

THM's site stated a weight of 293 grams for the compacts but the length of the cranks weren't mentioned and I was only able to achieve 293 after removing the pre-load cap, spacers and bushings.

Is there any noise from plastic sleeve of SE? I have been waiting my SE but I'm worried about it, actually.

Anyone run these on a PF30 frame? Thinking of moving them onto my Supersix. Will I need to run the THM bb? The spindle looks far too wide for an inboard bb. Is there another solution?

Thinking of finally getting one for this season. Does one need any additional tools (bottom bracket tool, THM adjusting tool, etc)?

Also worthwhile pointing out that I don't have the regular bottom bracket tool either. Trying to install this on a 2012 SS Evo and crossing my fingers I'll be able to figure it out...
