Garmin went flying whilst riding over a cattle grid, when I found it I expected to find the garmin tabs broken instead there was two bits of black plastic still under them
plus the barfly had split on the r/h side.
Of the 3 barflys I have this one was only ever used with an 800 the other two are used with a 500, must have been the extra weight of the 800 + the vibration from cattle grids (can't really avoid them around here)
Garmin still works despite the damage.

Just in time to upgrade to the 520. The newer garmins have lanyard straps to prevent them from flying away in case of a mount failure.
