I dropped my bike and scratched my Campag rear derailleur. It doesn't affect the way it shifts but it doesn't look as nice. I'm thinking about ordering a Super Record to replace it. Thoughts?

If you have scratched the carbon /decals , just sand it down with some wet and dry ..it will look great.

Bike fell again and left some shallow scratches on the seat stay that you can feel with your finger nail. Is this something I can fix myself or do I need to take it to professional?

Are you concerned about the look or the damage. If it just scratches then your bike is fine.
If its the look , then has it defaced a decal/ paint? Could getting a appropriate decal be a good solution?
What about just a simple paint touch up?

You buy a little bottle of clear nail polish from the supermarket.

You should take the derailleur to a rotary tool and use the opportunity to turn that scratch into tuning.
Make it lighter.

...also, since u dropped bike hard enough to damage ur rear mech (and possibly ur frame) u really should re-check the alignment of ur hanger, with the correct tool.

you can't replace your old SR rear Der with the new SR rear Der - they have different cable throws.

There are much better ways to spend your money IMO.

Bikes are meant to be ridden. If you never ride them, they never break or get scratched.

If these scratches bother you, get some touch up paint and/or clear coat and wet/dry sandpaper at the auto parts store. Touch up the scratched/chipped areas. Then carefully wet sand starting with 1000 grit and ending with 3000 grit. Then final finish with rubbing compound and wax. Should look almost new.

Also, I recommend a Feedback Sports RAKK folding rack instead of leaning bike against car or tree. Eliminates a sudden wind gust from tipping your bike over while you are getting ready.
It's all downhill from here, except for the uphills.

Trollololol

Or if by the slim chance the OP is serious, clean the butter of your fingers before handling your bike.
