in general. the Giant Adv Pro Line are incredible value, and incredible quality for the price - especially now that the 2016 bikes are starting to show up - you should be able to talk a shop into a real bargain. Giant are also great with frame warranties.

The Giants come with long top tubes and lots of reach compared to other women's frames, and do not go down to a very small size.

At that height she will probably be better served by looking at mens bikes and swapping saddle and possibly bars/stem (Shorter/narrower). Depending on the giants womens bike strategy, you may save some money.

It's essentially a Propel Advanced so reviews of that are pretty relevant. I have a M/L and I'm 180cm so that would likely work for her as well. :)

The brakes of the new version will clear 25mm tyres so that's pretty nice. Giant's own equipment is nice too

Here in Euroland they're available from 1400€ with Shimano 105, not a bad deal at all.

I'm 180cm and have a ML Advanced SL. If she is all legs I'd look at a size M first.

Really? please do elaborate,

all the v type brakes Ive used in this style are a good improvment over the caliper type int erms of power and modulation. although acces for adjustment can be an issue on things like the Boardman air.
