Anyone got a ride on one yet? It looks pretty slick for a disc bike, and light as well. I want to demo this thing.

what confuses me a little about the Focus Disc road bikes and their RAT axle system is what do you do if you want another set of wheels?

AFAIK RAT are proprietary width

"As with previous models, this means a 100x15mm front axle and a 142x12mm rear"

That is very standard, at least in the MTB world.

I think what looks new is the axle itself, to try and release the wheel quickly but this would not require anything special in the hubs. I may well be wrong through!

i contacted them, and they were very vague about having a di2 model. they said keep checking the website, blah, blah... maybe 2017 model.

Ah I think since their pro team uses Sram etap already, the group is coming out now maybe they don't care about Di2. In that regard I really can't imagine many Di2 only frames coming out for much longer. But maybe. Isn't Shimano likely to copy etap at some point and get rid of all the awkward wires? Then there will be no more of this wires specific models. Don't get me wrong I like Di2 also, just discussing.

Looks like this rim version sporting etap has no guides at all. Makes for a clean machine. Though you would think they would make the rear brake cable internal.
