zipp 202 and tufo tape

Hi, anybody using zipp 202-tub. with tufo tape? I ask, because some shops in germany prohibit this combination.

No, but the guy in the video clip uses a Zipp rim.
I can't imagine they would make an information video, using a rim that will not work.

I run this combination, have had no issues. Many punctures, but nothing to do with the tape falling off or anything remotely like that.

I have been using Carogna tape last summer on Bora ultra, climbing and descending the Italian and French Alps, absolutely brilliant!!

I use a combination, of mastik glue on the ring/ tire and Tufo tape to Maximize strengt in the bond.

tape may be a very good thing, but it is not the bonding.
