I would hate to be the guy to figure out there's a manufacturing issue with the front brake staying attached to the forks.

I was notified of this about a month ago from the retailer, Andrea at Bellatisport. It involves taking your front brake off and measuring how deep the threaded inserts go. I believe it was about 2mm difference between good and bad. Mine was fine and no action taken. If to shallow I think they worry about direct mount brakes bottoming out and not being tight.
