New seat tube and what's more? Any thoughts?

Is that new? Maybe I don't know the existing ultimate well enough. Does the downtube have a more rounded leading edge? I seem to remember the current generation being quite "boxy".

HT looks more Aeroad-ish
ST bottle cage is much lower than before, it is nearly unusable on my XS frame
New seatpost clamping area
Chainstays and seatstays look to be a bit wider set, maybe to fit wider tires?

Looks like they've done what Cervelo did to the R5/R3 (and what Cannondale did to the Evo from the beginning) which is to round off the squares a bit. Don't like the seatstays, loses Canyon's 'industrial' design language to me.

Canyon decal is much too big.

And it has a UCI sticker but it's not on the UCI approved list.

I don't know the rules, but is it possible that a manufacturer can get UCI approval, but request that the frame isn't mentioned on the list if the publication of the list interferes with the Companys own marketing strategy?

Specialized and Trek uses the UCI list to create buzz - maybe Canyon just want to release it on their own terms.

Having an Ultimate CF myself I hope they change these things in next model:
- seatpost clamp: an integrated seatpost clamp like Tarmac SL5 or Aeroad would be nice
- cable entry points: the finish could be better, the current model's cable entry points doesn't lokk solid

It looks very Scott Foil-ish to me...
Definitely not up on the same level as the Aeroad...

The Canyon Ultimate has also closely followed the Cervelo R series and this should bring it in line with the newer more aero R series...
