Except for when Cav rode it and won... like you were told in the other thread. Of course your screen name couldn't possibly indicate any bias

I ride a Pina F8 ;-)... Cav did win one stage but was then trounced by the Gorilla who one the most stages and Sagan who won the green jersey. Interesting they both really only pulled them out on the last kilometers after the first few stages when they did ride them. This doesn't bode well as a daily all round rider the regular Venge is.

The Cervelo S5 and Enve won the marketing of the battle TDF.

Talking about marketing battles... this is the only winner IMHO:

I also think this is the best aero frame currently available.

How did we come to talking Pinarello in a Venge thread?

I'm definitely partial to the F8, its the best bike I've ever owned... but I had big hopes for the ViAS though. I think it's a stunning looking machine but needs to be proven in the pro peloton and at the highest level to be more than an interesting exercise in design.

Yeah well, it's simple. Winning a stage is not enough proof that it's a capable bike :D

Not good show for S.

And then they were like 5th-6th. Seems like good marketing to me :).

How many stages have the new Madone or SS Evo won?

Armistead's ViAS is the cleanest I've seen so far.

Only if the people aren't on Specialized apparently in that case its a litmus test to if a new model bike is worthy of existing on earth.

For some reason you think I don't like Specialized as a brand. That's not the case at all. I almost got a Tarmac last year but the Emonda was better suited to my needs. But those were the two I was deciding between.

Its not you its just the posters on this forum and a few others. A few years back people were the same towards Trek.
