Wow, that head tube! Looks interesting. Wish there was a side shot and a higher quality image. Feel like I am back in 2008 with the quality of that picture. lol

Supposedly will save 5 minutes over current Venge? Or does the 5 minutes mean something else?

Edit: Thinking this over, the time saved/watts saved is probably the same thing Cervelo did with the new S5. The time saved will be with all the goodies; frame, deep wheels, new aero handlebar...etc.

Looks like Specialized is going fully integrated at the front end like Trek is.

Straight top tube ftw. But something weird going on with brake calipers.

Look like Roval hubs / skewers. So looks promising that its a Specialized item. Looks a lot like a BMC Time Machine.

Does the fork extend out hiding the brakes? Looks like its a shield built into the fork that nearly reaches the down tube. Hopefully they're not silly, proprietary brakes but something like a direct mount shimano.

Looks like a hidden front brake and BB mounted rear brake. Hopefully they don't suck.

At least it has a non-curved top tube from a purely aesthetic standpoint.

well 5 minutes is a long time (to wait for nothing).

thought it looked like a mid-seat stay mounted rear brake

That looks to be Chris D'alusio.
I am concerned that I cannot see brakes. That is a bad sign.

starting to look more and more like a shiv tt with speed concept integration and drop bars.

I live in the bay area and I saw what I think was Chris D'Aluisio riding an unmarked black bike a few weeks ago in Santa Cruz. I was in a car on a backroad, and saw him stop at a stop sign, before coming past my car. I am thinking this could have been the venge but I guess we will find out soon. I didn't get a great look at it, all I noticed was that the downtube had an interesting or weird cutout in it, almost like a Wilier cento crono. Can't wait to see what the next gen looks like.

From what I can see, there seems to be something mounted halfway down the seat tube. Just under the seat stays.

Possibly brakes?

looks like the pads are at the level of the top of the seatstay bidon

and the seatstays are ~ 6 inches lower down the seattube. more comfort i would assume.

i dont care the different the shaped headtube makes in the wind tunnel, but it is a marketing gift.

and with huge triangular fairings on the fork legs to cover the brakes.

I need to see better pics - but i'm not liking where it's heading

Brakes aren't under BB.

I like approach of Canyon and Cervelo: as aero as possible with the use of standard components and traditional brake placement.
