Looks like it was just announced. 780 Grams for a 55. Has CV integrated.

I've got an Infinito and *love* it.

Oh, and all paint is done by hand in Italy.

Just saw this on Cyclingnews and looks promising. Wonder if they keep the BB386 setup?

....the first Bianchi i like since i was a 11 year old kid in italy....we are talking Argentin era....shit i am old.

....Bianchi seems to me a bit behind in terms of both design (very messy, all over the place and untidy by italian standards) and engineering (STW, weight, etc)...
I dont get massively excited about things like counterveil marketing claims, even if there might well be substance in it....but no i don't have conclusive charts and tables on this one...call me empiricist, at least today :)

final thought of the day, maybe looks better in black, and slightly lighter apparently (780g +-5% in size 55):

see (in italian though)

BDC says no news on pricing yet but high end of the market...

I'm eagerly awaiting a review of this bike. I'd strongly consider this as my next investment given how good the Oltre XR2 is.

Must admit that I dont like the all out fluoro-Celeste... they need to tone it down a bit. The black is much nicer, but its not as nice as other Bianchi paint jobs Ive seen

I can't see this replacing the Oltre?

From what I read, it's suppose to be Bianchi's "climbing" bike (light weight).

Oltre - aero bike
Infinito - classics bike
Specialissima - climbing bike

Looks really nice, kinda similar lines to Swift Ultravox at first glance. Has anyone tried this countervail technology? Is it all that and the bee's knees?

Yeah... My oltre is a fantastic frame, but I wouldnt trust Bianchi's weight or tech claims as far as I could throw them. My 53cm Oltre XR2 frame was 1006g - 116g above the claimed weight (which was for a 55cm frame). I think being off by 13% with a weight claim is not very honest. Anyway by that rationale, the Specialissma may well be circa 900g - not that lightweight.

I tend to think that this frame will be a replacement for the Sempre, which in itself is a great frame. Can't really believe weight claims f/m any major maker to be honest..

Still, one to keep my eyes open as the recent news over offerings f/m manufacturers for 2016 is hardly exciting..

I love Bianchi and I love celeste, but I think this bike is hideous. I love straight lines too, so it makes no sense as to why I don't love this bike?

I dislike Trek bicycles (see em everywhere here in the USA rode on one for years MTB), but I think the Emonda looks damn beautiful.

Yeah I saw that. Look, it may well be a good indication that they will make their bikes to the weight specification, but it could also be a media stunt. Its probably best to suspend judgement till the full production frames become available.

I'm kind of digging that fluo celeste.. however, all attempts slap on anything celeste (bartape, stem, seatpost, saddle, bottlecage) would end up a massive bianchi fashion faux pas... resulting in white and black the only alternative.
