So finally ordered a speedvagen.. Wanted to get a consensus on what would you guys put on it

1) PRO Stealth EVO integrated vs Enve stem with a zipp handlebar
2) campy mechanical vs di2

Would you give us a bit more than just "So finally ordered a speedvagen.."
What colors, wich paintscheme, which wheels are you riding?

And please dont be that guy who brings up the religious discussion about choice of groupset - my pick is campagnolo and in 2 hours 6 guys would have disagreed with me saying that shimano or sram is the only way to go.

Matte green - hollatext. Wheels are Enves and lightweights... I am easy on either Groupsets as my other 2 bicycles run di2 and mechanical campy respectively. If it's PRO I probably go DI2??

What's your own taste about this exact bar-stem combo or regular adjustable stem-bars?

I would put the latter for adjustablity also I don't like flat tops.

I was actually leaning towards to integrated PRO system, (cause I thought it would be awesome to have everything painted beautifully. but am afraid of 2 things

1) the pro is kind of chunky compared to the frame tubes
2) the adjustability if there should be any..

Hi Bely,

I'm glad your getting the green - I really like that color.

If it's Di2 you could stick with the Pro - however you will negate the benefit of those really light levers with that Heavy bar.

If you want integrated see if they can get a Bontrager XXX - only about 250 grams vs 450 for a Pro or 350ish for the Ritchey I have on mine.

For Campy I would find it weird to mate it with a Pro Bar, I would go the ENVE stem route and add an ENVE Bar to match. It would seem weird to me to have a Zipp bar and no Zipp wheels.

I was in the same boat as yourself. I was torn between campy mechanical or di2. I went with Chorus and enve cockpit with 4.5 tubulars. I really like the enve compact bars and 4.5 wheels. The bike isn't especially light but if you wanted it lighter then go for di2 which I believe shaves 100-200 grams.

Cheers,

Matte green is a great choice and looks even better in person.

Yes the Pro combo looks a bit bulky.

Isn't there any more option? I remember the Deda Alanera was beautiful in the shallow version

By the way, the Enve stem looks bulky on a Speedvagen too, plenty of examples

The Pro combo looks good on the second picture. Matte paint will help make it understated anyway

The first picture looks like the new Richard Sachs siganture paint.
